Terms of Service

nManam is a verified professional network for India's mental health ecosystem — profiles, events, research collaboration, referrals, supervision, and jobs, open to Clinicians and Clinic Owners. It is not yet a consumer booking marketplace, and we don't advertise it as one anywhere on the platform until that changes.

You must be 18 or over to create an account — we ask for a declaration at signup. A Clinician or Clinic Owner account is verified by a Platform Admin before it can do anything beyond sit pending; nothing on nManam is self-certified.

• We facilitate; we are not a party to the work itself. When one professional refers work to another, hosts an event another professional attends, or (once live) is paid through the platform, that arrangement is between them. nManam makes the paper trail and the tooling possible — we do not adjudicate a dispute between two professionals, and we are never a party to the underlying care relationship a client has with a professional found through nManam.
• We never hold your money.Where a payment exists, it routes directly to a professional's or clinic's own connected account, minus our commission, through our payment partner. nManam is not, and has never claimed to be, a custodian of your funds.
• Verification is our honest, human judgment — not a guarantee. A verification badge means a Platform Admin checked a registration number against the relevant body's registry, or reviewed credential documents by hand. It is not issued, endorsed, or certified by RCI, NMC, or any government body, and it is not a warranty of a professional's future conduct.

You own what you post. By posting it on nManam — a profile, a discussion question, an event listing — you give us the licence we need to display it where the feature says it will be displayed, and nothing beyond that.

You agree not to post content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or misleading; that impersonates someone; that infringes someone else's rights; or that identifies a client or patient. We remove content that breaks these rules, and the reporting and takedown process is described on our Trust & Compliance page.

We never take, give, or facilitate a fee for referring a client from one professional to another, at any stage of the platform, permanently. Referrals on nManam are professional courtesy — never a commission.

Where a listing has a price, its refund terms are set by the host, within a fixed structure we provide — never free text. See our Refund Policy for how that works. nManam takes no commission at launch; any commission rate we introduce later is admin-configured data, never a hardcoded surprise, and is disclosed before you pay.

We may warn, restrict, or suspend an account for breaking these terms or the community rules above — always a Platform Admin's decision, never an automatic one, and always with a stated reason. You can close your own account at any time; what happens to your data when you do is covered in our Privacy Policy.

We'll update this page as the platform changes, and change the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use nManam after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India — exact venue to be confirmed by counsel before launch, not guessed at here.
