Refund Policy

Last updated 7 October 2026. This is a functional draft — see the note at the end before relying on it for anything beyond understanding how the product works today.

There is no single nManam-wide refund percentage

Every paid Event tier, internship posting, or supervision slot sets its own refund terms, at the moment it's priced above ₹0 — and the host doesn't write that policy in a free-text box. They answer a fixed set of questions (are refunds allowed at all, how many days before the event, what percentage, what happens for a no-show, and whether they'll manually review an exceptional case), and nManam generates the policy text from those answers. That keeps every policy on the platform readable in the same structure, and keeps a host from being held to wording they never actually agreed to.

Where you'll see it

The generated policy is shown on the listing itself, before you've started registering, and again before payment, where you have to tick a box confirming you've read and accepted it — never buried in fine print after you've already paid.

nManam's own role

We make the refund mechanically possible and keep a record of it — we don't hold your payment, so we are not a party to the refund, and we don't independently audit whether a host is honouring their own stated policy. A refund approved within the stated policy is processed automatically; an exceptional request outside it is between you and the host, through the manual-review path if the host has offered one. Every generated policy says this directly, not just in a document you'd have to go looking for.

Today

nManam takes no commission at launch, and no real payment has gone through the platform yet — this page describes the mechanism as it's built, ahead of any paid listing actually going live.

This is a functional draft of the mechanism, not yet reviewed by external counsel — the legal & compliance register's refund-policy-language gate is marked not started. Don't treat the generated wording a host sees today as final until that review happens. See also our Terms of Service.
